AI daily log
The foreman talks for about 30 seconds. Shimly turns it into a structured log: work done, crew and hours, issues and materials needed. It adds the weather and the day's photos, then the foreman reviews and saves.
Change orders on site
Describe the change, price it, and the client signs on screen or from an emailed link. The contract value and schedule update on their own. Our target is under 60 seconds.
Progress invoices and holdback

Who is Shimly for?
Small and medium construction, renovation and trade companies, from 1 to 20 staff and scaling to about 100. That means general renovation, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and landscaping. Shimly is Canada-first, starting with Ontario, then the US.
Can I use it yet? How does the trial work?
Not yet. Shimly is pre-launch, and a trial customer is testing it now. When plans open, you get a 14-day Pro trial with no card needed. If you do not subscribe when it ends, you move to the Free plan. You can ask for early access.
Do my crew have to pay?
No. Field crew, clients and subs are free and unlimited. You pay for office users only. The Free plan includes 1 office user, and an extra office user is $15/mo.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. The field app works with no signal, so a basement is not a problem. Photos queue up and upload later.
Does the AI send quotes by itself?
No. Shimly never sends anything automatically. It drafts the estimate from your own prices and markups, you check it, and then you send it. The AI daily log works the same way: the foreman reviews and saves it, and the screen says so ("Shimly wrote this. Check it over.").
